Robert Hoffmann is the owner and President of Hoffmann Brothers Heating & Air Conditioning. Hoffmann Brothers was originally founded in 1968 by Robert Linton. When the company was acquired we had 4 employees, currently Hoffmann Brothers has over 65. Hoffmann Brothers specializes in residential and commercial heating and cooling, indoor air quality, geothermal, ductless systems, plumbing, water heaters, and electrical contracting!

Robert graduated from the University of Missouri Rolla with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer. Robert started his career with Procter and Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio, then progressively worked for Boise Cascade and Anheuser Busch before starting Hoffmann Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning.

Robert serves on the board of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America where he was the President for two years. Robert was voted ACCA Man of the Year in 2000, 2001, and 2002. This award is given for leadership and contribution to the HVAC industry.

Robert has served on the Kappa Sigma House Corporation for over 20 years, 12 of which as President. In 1995 he was honored as the Kappa Sigma man of the year and in 2003 was awarded the Kappa Sigma Man of the Century. He served as President of the UMKC parents association. He also served on the building committee of Chaminade College Preparatory.

Robert also served on the Advisory Boards of Ranken Technical College and Vatterott Technical College. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Better Business Bureau and was chairman of the dispute resolution committee. In 2004, the Better Business Bureau honored Hoffmann Brothers as the best service company in St Louis with their World-Class Customer Satisfaction Award. In 2014 Robert served as Chairman of the Board at the BBB.  He was also a board member of Associated Builders and Contractors, served as President in 2006.

Robert is married to Mary (Shultz) Hoffmann. Mary is also a mechanical engineer and recently retired as the Plant Manager at Dial (Henkel) in St Louis. They have four children: Stephen, Laura, Chris and Joey. Stephen is an attorney specializing in Probate & Estate planning. Laura is an MD practicing emergency medicine in Waterloo, Iowa. Chris was honourably discharged as a Captain in the U.S. Marines and is now pursuing his MBA at Washington University. Joe graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BS in Mechanical Engineering has been working for Trane Commercial Sales.
