Compressed Air Systems St Louis
Compressed air systems are commonly used in St Louis factories, dry cleaning facilities, machine shops, auto repair facilities, and more. Hoffmann Brothers has many St Louis area businesses that we have installed and serviced their compressed air systems. A properly installed system is critical to its functionality and reliability. Not just any Mechanical Contractor can install or service a compressed air system, you need a contractor who is experienced and trained in these types of systems, like Hoffmann Brothers. If you have a compressed air system that needs servicing or are looking to have one designed and installed, call us at 314-998-4507.
We have many installations that we have performed for local St Louis businesses where we have put in compressed air systems. Some examples of our installation work are:
- We installed a compressed air system for a local Plastic Molding manufacturer. The compressed air system was a 50 horse power screw compressor with an air dryer and filter. We also installed the piping that was used to drive the pneumatic cylinders. The pipes were critical to the functionality of the compressed air system. They help in removing the moisture from the system.
- Hoffmann Brothers recently completed the design and installation of a compressed air system at Dr Michael Hoffmann’s Office. The system included two MidMark model P-32 air compressors. The system also included storage tanks, compressed air filters, exhaust silencer to minimize noise, distribution air piping, and air dryers. These compressors are medical grade and designed for operatory use. Compressed air piping for medical use requires special skills, knowledge and equipment following NFPA-99-12 specifications and the CGA handbook. The joints must be brazed and nitrogen purged to prevent the buildup of soot inside the pipe. The completed compressed air pipes were then inspected by a 3rd party to ensure cleanliness.
Hoffmann Brothers has the engineering capability to design and install your compressed air system or any medical gas system. To get a free estimate on a compressed air system installation or design, call us at 314-998-4507 or request a bid through our online form.
