Think of maintenance like an oil change for your car, you wouldn’t buy a brand new car and neglect it by never getting an oil change. With your new installation, you receive (2) tune-ups for your new system to protect your investment and keep it running smoothly. We’ll also contact you when it’s time to schedule, so you don’t forget or miss maintenance.

New System Tips
Tip #1: Water in Your Drain Pan
HVAC systems have drain pans and lines to remove excess moisture from the air as the cooling process takes place. It is normal to see water in these lines and in the drain pan, however, occasionally there is a blockage that needs to be cleared. Please contact us for assistance if you have that issue.
Tip #2: Thermostat Troubleshooting
Learning to navigate a brand new system and thermostat can be difficult. Sometimes, you may think there is an issue with the system when there is a small setting adjustment needed on your thermostat. To help troubleshoot your thermostat, we’ve included the common Hoffmann Brothers provided thermostat models and their manuals so you can ensure your thermostat is set to your personal preferences and functioning properly.
Did you provide your own thermostat? Consider visiting the manufacturer or brand site to find your thermostats manual and tips on how to operate your thermostat.
Tip #3: Humidifier & Dehumidifier Limits
Humidifiers and dehumidifiers are a great addition to your home’s HVAC system and can help create the most comfortable indoor environment. These units will keep your house at an optimal humidity level as set for most of the year, however, during extreme temperatures there may be fluctuation outside of the set level. This is normal and you should not be concerned about unit function. If the temperatures begin to level and you still experience uncomfortable levels of humidity, please contact our team to assist you.
